Looking at some additional features of the 2010 Jetta TDI not usually pointed out. One of the most noted features deals with the Climatronic automatic climate control. Since the TDI has low heat output on a cold day, there is a supplemental electric heater to provide heat for the interior. So while the engine heats up, the electric heater will supply some heat while you wait.
